Fridays 10am – 1pm

Painting with Adam between landscape and studio. This term we will be looking down on the forest floor, seeking the richness of colour and pattern amongst the flora and fauna, and finding a way through the conflict between realism and abstraction. Students will start outside by sketching, observing and making colour notes. From thereon, students will work between studio and landscape as the paintings dictate.
Use oils, acrylics, pastels, charcoal; work large or small; canvas, board or paper…
Adam Roud is a really exciting teacher to work with: figurative, abstract, experimental and bold.  Come prepared to be challenged and to enjoy sharing the experience with other like-minded students.
